Rift: Planes of Telara, formerly known as Heroes of Telara, is a 3D fantasy MMORPG developed by Trion Worlds (also formerly known as Trion World Network).


Rift: Planes of Telara is set in the fantasy world of Telara, a land that is being continuously torn apart by dimensional rifts. These rifts play an important role in the game's unique dynamic events system, whereby players or developers can trigger key events that can have significant effects on the game world, ranging anywhere from minor events to events that alter the game's landscape or even open up new areas.

    This game looks really pretty. I know no ones going to believe me, but I came up with a concept for a game a few years ago which is very similar to what this looks to be, but not being a game developer I never did anything with it...

    Hope the screenshots are similar to actual game play because this game looks awesome, i love the idea of key events effecting the entire game world, this sounds promising

    When this game was first announced, it was somewhat quiet compared to other games I have played or heard of. I wasn't really sure what to think of it at www.riftgoldpvp.com the beginning, but it definitely looked interesting, and I was intrigued. So I signed up for the beta events and patiently awaited my invitation. I never got www.riftgoldpvp.com. So I went ahead and pre-ordered the game in the hopes that I would not be disappointed. I was not.
